Over the last decade the techOFFICE owners have developed a keen interest in contemporary arts and have offered their support to the local and international arts scene. As well as supporting major cultural activities such as the Ruhr Triennale - one of the most significant cultural events in the Germany - and independent art projects, they have decided to open a new project space in Dresden. From early 2008, the 400sqm loft space at the heart of the city centre will become a platform for emerging young artists to develop their ideas and work.

Through a series of residencies and events, our aim is to create an innovative forum that connects to the flourishing local arts scene, and a wider international context. Just walking distance from the Academy of Fine Arts and the city’s most renowned museums, it will be an opportunity for the artists in residence to present their work to established and new art audiences. Additionally, within the next year, alongside this project space a gallery will be created.
